Such a petition may make more sense if it were on the Parliamentary Petitions site. That way, at least it gets debated in Parliament if the requirements are met.

Also, the petition is addressed to the wrong person. I cannot fathom why it is addressed to Gareth Johnson, MP for Dartford. He is not even a junior minister (MoS or PUS), never mind being one of the Secretaries of State. At the most, he is the PPS (parliamentary aide) to David Davis.

But let none of that deter those who wish to sign the petition.

Please use official government petition sites as member secret.simon suggests.

The online link you posted exposes the full names of all people signing and I am sure they have not given permission for their names to be exposed on an immigration forum.
