Reading your case, whether it is expedited or not, when it does get to Tribunal hearing most likely it will get approved anyway. Dont give up - and trust me there is some lessons to be learnt from this hardship. WIll help you better in future by having gone thru this make you stronger.

Yeah i guess so, i am very confident that it will get approved at court there is no doubt about that, but Its just a joke that we and others have to wait this long to prove someone else's incompetence

The worst thing is that we wouldn't have submitted knowing that we didn't meet requirements and that no one will take responsibility for this mistake.

but hey ho like you said once its over we will look back and laugh, my fiance says the exact same thing.

Sad reality of life. Like i said being a British Citizen no longer means anything. Also to add to that certain countries are more scrutinised like Nigeria, Asia subcontinent, Albania etc.

Yep i have said this too, because Albanians have a reputation for overstaying or just coming illegally they seem to punish that way. But there is no way to prove it and they will never admit it lol

MP has chased the home office this morning regarding expediting the review.

She called them last week and they said they would contact her within 1 week which they haven't. So she chased them this morning and they had no idea what she was on about and asked her to put it in an email.... which now means another long 20 day await for them to respond to find out if us suffering mental health issues (depression, anxiety, stress) is going to be enough for them to hurry up with their review. :( :(

2nd expedite request to the court sent off yesterday too so waiting again, thats all i seem to do!

Hi
I can completely understand what you are going through as I am going through a similar situation to you. Its really frustrating and you get really annoyed at the waiting times of how long they take to get back to you.
I applied for my wifes visa at December 2016 and it was refused for a stupid reason (didn’t believe she was same person on medical TB photograph) even though it was her she looked slightly different. The centre she got her photograph taken for the medical TB test was an approved centre of the british embassy and the people working there were shocked too when they find out about this, but anyways… I have now re-applied in January 2018 and have been waiting patiently since.
I have been married for 2 years and it seems like we are never going to meet… I have told her that if it gets refused now, I wont be able to tolerate another refusal and that ill be going to her place and leaving this country behind.
It is hard I know I be glad as each day ends, knowing that I am one step closer to finding out (whenever that day is) if she gets it or not.
I have to praise all your hard work that you have done seeing an MP, writing to the queen and complaining to the home office.

Hi

Thank you so much, its not easy to wait around like this. I am constantly on edge i feel like i am becoming obsessed! I just thought that I cannot sit back and do nothing, its just not possible for me. For me I am not sure how close we are to the end of this situation it just seems to be prolonged for no reason. I dont know how you have managed to wait for so long, I have to praise you for that!

In your case what a ridiculous reason for refusal, could i ask did you appeal the refusal or just reapplied later on?

I wish you all the best i really do, your going to need it with this country lol

No i didnt appeal i waited cause my salary was due to increase 6 months later so i would exceed the £18,600 requirement. Then after my salary increased i was told i needed to wait 6 months for wage slips (really annoyed me) then after a breathe taking 6 months went passed we planned to go see my wife. I was told by my solicitor to wait till i come back and then apply as this would make the case a lot stronger so i had to wait another 3 months. Finally glad its been put in thats off my mind now just waiting to see the outcome now.
Dont even ask how them 2 years went by... been having ups and downs with my family in tears here and there lol im constantly on the phone with her 5 or 6 times during day even at work lol
Got fed up... at one point got really annoyed decided to leave and go there... then family calmed me down.... these 2 years have been painful... thats why i say i cant tolerate another refusal... hopefully she comes here otherwise im out of here.

I can only imagine how hard its been for you, I cant even manage 6 months let alone 2 years lol Im constantly on the phone to my fiance too lol he doesn't like to call me too much when i am at work in case he gets me in trouble, but we still manage it somehow. We all know it will be worth it in the end. I hope that its a good out come for you, im sure after all this time shouldn't be a problem for you as your case is probably a lot stronger now.

@01484 you sound completely obsessed brother. Calm down, there is more to life than this. Why do you want to leave job, family etc just to settle in a country your probably werent brought up in. You will be there, next to her then what? Then reality will hit you... you will realise you dont belong there. Life isnt all like the movies and happily ever after.

Be patient and she will be here.

Lol that’s true and you know what that’s exactly what my family says to me too….yeah my wifes like that too she doesn’t like ringing me when im at work… but iv got her into the habit of ringing me now lol … at work right now she going to ring me soon…
Yeah but what other options are there keep applying when it gets refused… hope it doesn’t not inshallah it goes through… applied once refused now second time iv applied…. Its time and money…. 1st time I didn’t use a solicitor that was my mistake and I did learn from it… I am now backed up by a successful solicitor.
Iv looked at the timelines from people that have been posting on this site all of them I can see the month you apply in i.e. mine is Jan is not considering and is not counted as the first month… so mine 1st month counting starts from Feb, March and Hopefully in April ill find out.
Londoner007 whats your situation… you applied? Just waiting?

The amount of cases I have seen where the sponsor has gone through extreme depression etc to bring the applicant here in UK, only for few months later the applicant moving out and leaving the sponsor.

Your young and probably in love. Better for you to exhort your effort in improving the relationship between family wife etc before she comes. All the best and InshaAllah she will be here soon I will make dua for you.

I dont mean to be harsh just trying to make you see from different direction. I know wait is hard but you are young.

I am sure she will eventually be here. In the mean time play football, spend more time reflecting on yourself etc.

I dont think Londoner has applied recently, just has clear knowledge of the spouse/fiance visas.

the harsh reality of it all is being told to wait and be patient, deep down we know thats the only option we have. I just know that once we do go to court a judge is going to laugh at the home office reasons because for us its there in black and white and the proof is all there. but its waiting for that court stage lol

what country have you applied from for your wife?

There is a visa processing timeline website by GOV that gives a rough idea... although in some cases not correct, when we applied this website showed 60 days as 80% we got our decisions on 54th day i think.

Am just a layman who spends time reading this forum and giving any input from my very very limited knowledge. Most of people I speak to have applied to Asia so that's why I provided you with some insight into family issues etc.

Ballgirl17 i thought I told you next time I read from you girl I want to hear some Lajme te mira :P

They are clearing December applications now. They have pretty much cleared all November applications last few weeks. You will hear soon. If worst comes to worst and you cant contain yourself and it is also feasible, then do some overtime and go visit the wife again.

Yours will probably be looked at in second week April.
