When can I apply for Citizenship?

Hi. I recently got ROR after divorce and now going to apply PR.i have few questions if pls senior members can guide me .

1) do I need to pass life in uk test and English test aswell?

2)after getting PR do I need to wait one year to apply citizenship even if Im married to British Spouse?

1. Yes you need both. English B1 must be from and HO approved test provider.

2. No you don't need to wait provided you meet all the requirements to apply based on 3 years residence as spouse of BC, including being physically present exactly 3 year previously to the date you apply.

1)How can I find the HO test approved centres?

2)I’m not married (only Muslim Marriage done) to British citizen as we planning to get married in September so would these above test still be necessary if I’m applying citizenship after getting PR and not yet married to BC?

I read somewhere if you got PR under EEA rights and you married to BC then you don’t need to wait 1 year.

All spouse of BC don't need to wait, it is not only EEA route applicants!!

We got married in October 2017.

PR application timeline is under 3 months so if all go well then I would have PR in June/July so shall I book my English and Life In uk test before I get my PR?i hope they don’t expire in next one year.

Don’t wana waste time so is better to get all necessary documents before I apply for citizenship.Thanks

LIUK doesn't expired. English tests are valid for 2 years.

And I came in 2010 then got married with EU national in 2011,divorce in 2017 and they refused my ROR application in September 2017 but this month I got ROR.im legal in this country from 2010..

No, it is not recognised so for the purpose of applying for British citizenship, you are currently not married to a British citizen and there 12 months wait will be required.

And I came in 2010 then got married with EU national in 2011,divorce in 2017 and they refused my ROR application in September 2017 but this month I got ROR.im legal in this country from 2010..

What was your visa in 2010 before you got married to an EU national??

Yes. You will need your Passport though.

During PR application HO gonna have my passport so can I attend the UKIV test with BRC?or do I need to request back for my passport to attend the test centre?

so Which test I should book first?UKIV or English?
I prefer UKIV then English..

Last question if I get PR in July and get married in September with BC so still I need to wait 12 months for citizenship?& can I travel during my PR application?dont plan to travel but if I get any emergency?

If you are legally married to a BC in September 2018, then you do not have to wait 12 months.

My visa expired in 03/2012 and I sent my RC application in the same month before tier 4 was expiring and after 9/10 months wait I was granted with RC as a EU family member in 01/2013..

From 04/2012 to 04/2014 she was student and got her CSI documents for whole 2 years and after that she start working in 06/2014 until divorce..so technically she could get her PR in 04/2017 but she didn’t choose to apply and the same month I got decree absolute.

So shall I apply citizenship without getting PR bcoz is almost 6 years now since she started her treaty rights?

You cannot apply for citizenship if you do not hold a DCPR (document certifying PR). This is a mandatory document since 2015. If you risk it without PR, your citizenship will be refused and you will lose the fee.
