Tier 2 dependent to ILR

Post by Thee_matu » Sun Mar 18, 2018 12:41 pm

Hi,

My wife and child (born in the UK) have completed 5 years on the Tier 2 dependent visa route and are now due for their ILR.

1. What are the documents required to accompany the application for ILR?

I have a few listed below. Please can someone verify this and suggest other
documents if I have missed any?

a) Set(o) form
b) Cohabitation documents –Council tax bills
c) Bank statements(not joint account) confirming living in the same address
d) Utility bills separate names confirming living at the same address
e) Marriage certificate (outside UK)
f) Child’s UK birth certificate
g) Both original passports and BRPs. My name mentioned on wife’s passport as spouse
h) HO letters
i) GP letter
j) Wife’s Pay slips and letter from employer
k) Life in the UK
l) Degree certificate(UK)
m) Cover letter from me

2. Can I skip my child’s application and go for registration as a British citizen?

If yes, what would be the form I would have to use and please could
someone provide a link to this process perhaps?

Any help regarding this would be appreciated.
