How to provide additional info to Home Office after applying

Post by englishrose198 » Mon Mar 19, 2018 11:06 am

Hi All,

I have applied on Feb 28th and received my acknowledgement letter/bio metrics and payment received letter on March 8th which I noticed 2 days ago.

However on the same day I also received a notice of enforcement(simply asking me to pay fine failing which next step would be enforcement) dated March 8th for not paying PCN fine to council that has been missed(or never delivered/read) somehow. However I had paid the fine of £278 immediately having realized my mistake of crossing a pedestrian zone and that the fine was very genuine

Now my question and concern is

I was not aware of this fine/PCN on the date of my application though council would have sent an initial letter of PCN
I had received enforcement fine letter only after applying
so obviously I have not mentioned about this PCN in my application and would have probably ticked No for a question of if you have more or 2 fines(which i cant recollect the checklist question correctly )

Now in all my honesty I want to provide this addition info to Home Office as i don't want to risk losing my application fee at any cost or lose my mental peace for getting rejected for this reason.

What is the correct way to send this info to Home Office?

Have patience. Your other post is barely 58 minutes after your 1st one.

Send a covering letter and supporting documents (fine notice) explaining everything in detail through recorded delivery mentioning your HO Ref # to the SAME address to which your naturalization application was posted to.

Thank you for replying.

I had sent the details yesterday with all the details mentioning in my cover letter although I could not attach the letter copy since I kept it at home. I am hoping this is ok as i have given all the reference numbers and contravention code with dates and amount paid etc.

I was hurrying to give my bio metrics yesterday and is the reason to post again hoping if anyone is online and would understand my situation. Thanks for replying

You can attached the letter copy and send it too. It will just be a proof of what you have sent earlier to them.
