Thanks rahila....did you send it via parcel force or royal mail?

I thought it counts from the date the biometrics has being taken?
Yes that's what I thought as well but not sure
Like I said before, I had a solicitor help me put the file together and send it so I'm not sure. Sorry I can't be of much help with that question :( hopefully you will hear something soon.

Spouse visa

Post by rahila » Tue Apr 10, 2018 1:55 pm

I put in my application for husband in Feb 2018 as priority visa and still haven't heard anything from them. Anyone know how long it may take? Reading others timelines I've noticed most people have already received replies. :?:

If you haven't done so, post your timeline so it can be used to get an indication of when you are likely to get a response from HO

I am dealingwith an organisation who gets paid thousands of pounds and cant even send an email to confirm receipt..

I was on the Dilemma that they have not received it or it got lost....But after the visa grant I am certain now that they have it.....funny enough I was told we get it after few days or week....

I was about to call/email them last Thursday to find out,, but alhamdulilah I got notified that a decision has being made...

Please update us on your progress and don't forget my wife had her biometrics done on the 22nd February... Yours was on the 27th if I am not mistaken..so you are after me..so it should be this week or next week inshallah where you hear the greaaaaat news....

Just got an email stating the visa application was processed one 11/04/2018

Does that mean they will be in contact for passport collection?

Is there no way to know before if visa has been granted or not?
I'm a bit confused

I have received this email.
Dear ****** ,

The processed visa application for GWF reference number -  GWF******** was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 4/11/2018 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

Does this mean the passport can be collected? Or do i need to wait for phone call?

MY WIFE'S FROM 10 APRIL 2018 - 10 JANUARY 2021...

Whats your spouse visa granted until...by the way make sure that he needs to have the Home office letter which came with his passport ready at the airport...its important as it specifies the reason for the grant and until when..

Don't be just away from forum until 2021 but continue to read it regularly as the rules regulations changing everyday.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
