@bizman, thanks for replying. I am not sure about sending business account statements (since not a required document), in my case.

I have another question:

1) Just to be double sure, can I use the same maintenance funds account for myself (and for my depandants)? Funds are maintained to an appropriate level, covering myself and my dependants.

2) I have two months of personal bank statement, however, 3rd statement will take time to reach (and may or may not reach) before I apply. I visited the bank today and they:

a) printed me the bank statement (same that I can also download me from my account) in black and white.

b) printed me the bank statement on letter head showing the logo (doesn't show the statement date). Though today's date is printed at the bottom of the page. - It does not say that the statement is from this date to this date. However, it does show that the balance brought forward - £XXXX (as part of the transactions).

c) printed me a covering letter showing the bank name and logo, account holder name, and the balance in the account.

Could you please let me know if this sort of statement is OK? or should I wait until the last date of visa expiry and see if I receive the bank statement by post?

1) yes
2) if it is not original statement the requirement is that every page of the printed statement should be stamped by the bank OR the letter should clearly state that the balance has been maintained for 90 days. Not clear if either is met in your case. You can always send the documents you have and send the last statement when you receive it to avoid waiting for last date

Thanks @marcnath.

Statement is original in the sense that they are printed on letter head and are given by the bank as mentioned in point b)

Problem is that it does have the statement duration or proper statement date. Though the transactions mentioned cover the 90 days.

Yeah, I will wait for a few days else will apply with what I have and send a replacement document later.
