Appeal against Refusal documents

We appealed against a refusal by BHC islamabad for a spouse visa.We have a appeal date on 9/5/08,but the AIT informs us that they have still not recieved docs from Islamabad. Should we get any docs from BHC. We only got a one page refusal notice some 6 months ago, giving brief details for reason for refusal

I have the same problem, I just got a letter saying that the BHC pakistan has not sent their documents to the UK. Are you still waiting for yours?

HO will probably request an adjournment on the 9th May.

I would still go fully prepared with your files/case etc and see how hopeless the HO actually is.

It will inspire you further!

If the judge considers the HO request, I would be cheeky and say that I would like the hearing to continue as you have waited 6 month+ and you have prepared your case in full.

If the HO cant be bothered submitting paperwork on time (despite having 6 months in which to do so), then its unlikely they will offer much resistance!

I'm all for the HO clamping down on dodgy applicants / overstayers that appear out of nowehere after 15 years or those that have HOllywood-esque stories about what happened to their documents, BUT when they mess around legit applicants, I'm with you 100%

are you a film critic !!!!
no one need to give him/herself the right to judge others without even knowing them !!!
when people post a question is to get some advice or a clue and they are deperate and i have never seen anyone asking: do you classify my life story as a hollywood or a bollywood film

Did you even read my REPLY to the OP - it was POSITIVE ADVICE as its a pefectly legitamate case and I hope 100% he is successful in overturning the rejection.

This thread has nothing to do with you.....if the OP is unhappy with the advice of pressing ahead with the appeal and not taking no for an answer, Im sure he/she will respond!

I dont think Gollywood is being unreasonable at all......there are lots of people with "far-fetched" stories and giving them a Bollywood/hollywood theme is perfectly appropriate in my opinion!!!....some people are too sensitive i guess.
