Man you need EU citizen to be there before you get the 10 Years stamp, if she doesnt show up you are done..i dont know what will be the rule in that case may be retention first (1 more year in limbo ) now you know what to do

the applicant in this case already received his permanent residence so he is exempt from applying EU3

regarding informing the immigration office I suggest you do inform them as it say on the eu3 approval letter you have to inform them if circumstances change that effect your right having said that this should not effect your right of residence that you have already acquired as being with eu citizen who was exercising her eu treaty rights for 5 years.

the only reason its ok in my opinion to inform immigration office is that by informing them your following the instructions they might come back and say you don't need to do anything but if you don't inform them and if they find out they might say why you didn't inform us.

he as need to mention on the citizenship application form.
so better also notify immigration office in advance cos they will find out through citizenship office.

my advise is to go through a solicitor for how to notify immigration office or even if there is a need,

btw this will not fly well with the immigration office that right after receiving permanent residence they got separated because 2 months is too short period.

thanks
