I'm carrying a nhs job offer ...with 31662 GBP pay and my sponsor will be applying for COS allocation in April 18. Can any one say , will it get through ???
If they are applying on April 16th you will have to wait till May 11th for the results. Check the April thread to see how the points are and then you will have a better idea of your chances.

A Home Office spokesman told Business Insider that the restrictions were necessary in order to tackle levels of migration. “It is important that our immigration system works in the national interest, ensuring that employers look first to the UK resident labour market before recruiting from overseas,” he said.
It is becoming very clear now that the government wants to curtail the only possible route of settling in the UK as a work permit holder (Tier 2) in this way. Tier 1 has closed, Tier 4 is for students and Tier 5 restricts someone to stay in the UK for 2 years only.

Starting to feel that it's a standard comment for them to make. Lets just be patient until they announce the quota for the new allocation year or any other possible changes to the system.
There's a lot of internal force from companies/NHS within UK to the HO to fix this outdated points-based system. I'll be really surprised if the gov chooses to not make any changes this year.

This is the statement which they used in February I think this is the same statement used in the news paper. Am sure there will be changes due to lot of buzz and difficulties in recruiting the EEA nationals. We ll get to know very soon as the allocation approaches.

Hello Folks,
companies who applied for RCOS in March 2018, did they get the results already? As per my understanding employers will know their application outcome by 3rd week of the month. Since home office stats are not published yet so I was wondering whether employer knows results of their applications submitted in March or the results are not known yet ?
Kind regards,
Md.

Wondering why HO is taking so long to publish their results for March. Probably, they are already in the Easter weekend mode

Your employer can check the status of your Cos on the sponsorship management system (sms). If he has done it through a third party/immigration firm they can do the same.

Hi,
Thanks fo sharing valuable information,
I seriously don't understand what my employer is up to, he is hardly sharing any information with me, he said they had applied on salary 45k , I'm a Cyber Security Professional with over 9 years of experience, so in my case RTLM+45K Salary should be good points right? Employer says he do not have any update yet from home office whether my application is approved/rejected.
Please advise,
Kind regards,
Md.

Hey
Did you guys notice with March results they have not mentioned how many number of certificates will be available in April 2018. Usually with every moth result they mention no. of certificates available in upcoming month.
Is this guiding something that Annual quota might get increased from 20700 or something else.

Hi,
starting of the month it is 2,200 by default.
2200 is by default when total quota is 20700. If it's increased or decreased respectively this number will be changed.
I just noticed this and tried to check if someone is aware of any new development

You should get 45 points, so it will not be approved in March. You will have to wait for April.
