Sponsor licence application

Post by Wab13 » Wed Mar 28, 2018 4:50 pm

Hi,

Assisting in a license application. A candidate was found in an original round of advertisement but due to rlmt requirements a second round ( friendly was placed) also to allow for 6 month limit to assign cos.

As the initial round was not rlmt friendly a second round was done. does the first round of advertising need to be provided to home office etc, there were no relevant other applicants but I did read somewhere that the cos needs to be assigned within 6 months of the first round of advertising... which would not be the case with our first advertisement. or is this only if you split up the rlmt?

Could anyone help?

First round was standard advertising, second was done to comply with rlmt.

Which round is counted as “6 months from advertisement” for the coS

Sorry I don’t understand your reply, are you saying coS 6 months is from the second round of advertisements for rlmt (which was 28 days consecutively) !?

To sponsor a person for Tier 2, RLMT must be met. So the second job advert is the one that will count as the first one did not meet the RLMT requirements.

RLMT is only valid for 6 months.

I'm slightly astonished that someone is using this forum for advice on a Tier 2 sponsor license application. Isn't that what lawyers and the sponsor helpline are for?
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
