Can we not find the IHS and make the payment if it’s necessary for a child? In order to skip this waiting times?
I was told by UK Decision Making Center that they have requested IHS team to send me payment link for child. But it has been over one week and received no link.
Anyhow, Today i send E-mail to IHS.Shefield@fco.gov.uk and requested them to send me link so decision could be concluded after payment.
There is no harm to send E-mail to them. They will wake up if they are sleeping or some lazy one shall be alerted.

@Lukcy18

All Child under 18 pays IHS payment unless they are applying for ILE or ILR (Indefinite Leave to Entry or Remain) as per my information. UKVI asks for it at later stage of application.

They should not refuse application without taking child IHS payment if they do then it means they have not consider full and all part of your application. Some time they also ask for IHS after VISA is granted. I did not hear they refused anyone without IHS payment. Therefore keeps your hopes and wish you all the best and waiting for outcome of your case. I hope it shall be positive. Cheers.

@Dilshod

I have sent E-mail to IHS.Sheffiled@fco.gov.uk and received acknowledgment E-mail. I hope they will send me link for child IHS payment by end of next week. If they do not then my next step is to involve MP.
MP can expedite processing for us. I wish all the best who are waiting for outcome.

I am very sorry to hear that and thank you for updating us. It does make sense now why you were not asked for IHS payment for child. However, my personal opinion is that they should not have refused you without asking IHS payment as its a procedural step and may count as applications were fully considered before making any decision.

Anyhow, could we ask you to share the reason of refusal please if that's ok? I understand its a bit difficult time to digest the reality but there is always a plan B. You guiez may need to work on your plan B. I wish you all the best and Good Luck for next time.

Hi, mainly the refusal was regarding the Eligibility of Financial Requirements, the eco just assumed that my Husband was self employed which is not true (were going to appeal because it's unAcceptable) Eco disregard all the financial documents supporting our applications, wherein we met more than the actual financial threshold needed.

How long have you been married or how long have you known each other because it looks like you met every other criteria.

Can you post the actual refusal wording (omitting any personal details)? Did you submit payslips together with the corresponding bank statements?

This is not a general discussion/outcome topic. It would be useful if you started your own topic as you have now tagged repetitively onto another members topic, which is not only unfair to the OP, it is considered rude and creates confusion when members respond.

Does that mean usually they ask for IHS first and then only make a decision whether to give visa or not?

I am waiting for decision from last 91 working days. No IHS payment is taken yet for child.
Asking to pay for IHS at later stage when child is involve in application is a procedural step not any indication of approval or refusal. However, we have seen in form that those who are asked to pay likely to get VISA approval.
But in Luky18 case, HO refused VISA without asking IHS which mean they did by pass this procedural step to reach decision. We are unaware what are their perimeters reaching decision as per law and prescribed rules of their own organisation.

The time frame!

Online application submited by me December 24th
4th January biometrics and online submited by biometric cebtre staff centre.
Sent supporting docs the same day. Received email on 15th January docs received by Sheffield.

Called to centre for an inquiry if they need anyhing else on 25 February.
Gettin the email back from Sheffield on 28th
Stateting: its on a last stages and that i should get the decision very soon!
Is it a goid or bad news? Any assumptions any one?
Hi,

1. If you don't mind we asking what supporting documents did you provide for your son's visa application?

2. You sent your supporting documents to Sheffield on the same day when your Mrs and Son had biometric in Pakistan. Didn't you submit copies of the documents they were provided after biometric submission.

3. Can the TB test be done from any clinic or are there specific clinics they accept, which one would that be in Isamabad?

Regards
