Need information about charge with crime after ILR application

HI every one

I had applied for ILR on 7 feb 2017 and i did not heard from UKBA till now. I had one problem like i had been accused by my ex gf for assaulting her and after police interview i had been charged for common assault on jan 2018. Now i am going through court trails and iam not guilty. So i just want to know can ukba find out that iam charged with common assault as of yet i am not convicted and can they hold my visa application un till my court decision. I am not guilty what should i do? Please let me know all suggestion are welcome.

Yes. They can hold the application until they get the court verdict. If convicted, you will be refused ILR

thanks zimba but will it show in my DBS that i am charged with common assault as i am not convicted yet and i did not mention in my application as this happen after my application. As i am going through a lot of stressed as my mom passed away in dec 2017 and i was unable to attend her in her last time due to this.

This has nothing to do with DBS check. Home office internal checks are comprehensive and show the pending court cases. It is unlikely that your case will go ahead before the verdict is known, given the serious nature of the allegations

I had requested my MP to write to Home office and my immigration lawyer as well. I hope UKba not hold my application so that i can visit my family and come back.....fingers crossed...
