Londoner007: IHS link E-mail comes straight from UK Decision Making Center which i believe its a case worker who send top pop payment link. As i had been waiting desperately for the link since 21st March and observed from different people experiences on different forums. Here are my observations:
1). Those applicants with children usually get decision in their 5th or 6th months from bio metrics date.
2). Those applicants with children if ask to pay IHS payment are likely to get VISA approval. I have not witness any applicant so far whose VISA refused after IHS payment made. All of them got approval Once paid.
3). I have witness few applicants with children who got passport collection messages without asking for IHS payment ended up in refusals.

Therefore based upon my personal observation, it seems to me that even though making IHS payment is a procedural step but it may means something positive and probably a good news. However there is no guarantee and assurance... Its my personal view and observation.

Finally, i received IHS payment link today morning from Decision making center which i believe ECO sends to applicant not IHS team because it came from same E-mail address which ECO has used previously to communicate to me.
Anyways, i made payment Straightaway in PKR and sent payment detail to IHS.Sheffield@fco.gsi.gov.uk as advised. However, no payment receipt was generated or issued to me Via E-mail.

After making payment, i reopen the link and this time it was showing Zero Outstanding balance which means payment has reached to them successfully. Now waiting for decision.

@ Dilshod - we all need support and the amount of comfort people receive in this forum, even a few words to keep them going goes a long way!

You should email UKVI and ask them to escalate your IHS concern to the decision making centre. That way Sheffield will read the email.

What this could mean possibly is, if they are awaiting IHS payment before Visa then they will keep progressing with the application process instead of waiting around.

Thank you for the good wishes. This form is really amazing and provide bit of relief sharing with each other and benefiting from the information and others experiences.

@Dilshod: ECO took exactly 15 working days to send me IHS link upon second reminder as i contacted UKVI center twice to chase for the link. Hopefully it should come to you as well in week or two. But there is no harm to remind them. Sometime HO is deliberately lazy or give preference to other profitable applications such as Priorities. And surely i shall update the decision outcome.

Was the payment prosedure easy to make? When they send you the link(ihs) ? I read some forum where after getting the email they have seven working days to pay and some panic that they cant make a payment or cant find where to pay.
Hopefully it will be simple follow the instruction.

You are correct, i also read same that some people found it difficult to pay for IHS link they sent.

But to be honest, it is very simple and straightforward procedure. You have only seven days to pay for IHS when link arrives. Therefore you should check your E-mail every day just in case. I used to check my E-mail few times in a day.. Anyhow, the link key they send is very specific to applicant. You just click on the link and it tells you how much you need to pay then provide your Bank card detail and click pay. That's it. It literally takes less then 2 minutes in two clicks. You get payment confirmation E-mail.
After that, Send E-mail to provided address in link mentioning applicant Name, GWF reference, IHS Reference and amount you have paid.
That's all job finished.
I shall suggest to contact again to UKVI centre and ask them why you haven't receive any link? ECO shall definitely send you upon second reminder. I do not trust HO what they say and do is not consistent. They makes lots of mistake and we can not completely relay on them. I wish you all the best.

First of all, There is no guarantee that outcome shall be positive as desired. Anything may happen but we should keep our hopes up after a long wait.
What i have seen from other people posts that mostly they usually get passport collection message within 15 working days after child IHS is paid. However, i know one applicant applied in November settlement application from outside country and had IHS link in end of February, paid on same day still awaiting for decision.
It probably varies case to case. Therefore its very hard to say what is going to happen. But we need to be optimistic based on current trend, "Once you have IHS link most probably chances are approval is highly likely". But not for sure.

And VAF number which was on the email.
And the amount paid.

@ Londoner007: I made Child IHS payment on 13th April 2018 (Friday) as well sent E-mail to IHS Sheffield as it was advised.

Moreover, i also made contact with UKVI Centre via E-mail 16th April 2018 (Monday) via E-mail to inform them that IHS is now paid and requested for Second Escalation and also asked them for current application status. Usually when we get reply in two working days from UKVI centre and ECO replies within 15 working days once UKVI center forward our message to concern department.

I hope i answered your question. it may be easier to follow the trend if others timelines in same situation are possibly put together. You are correct it shall be fascinating to see trend.
