One junior doctor just received it. Non shortage occupation. Salary 55-60,000. Anything above 55 seems safe for now.
hi

Could you please see if anyone between 50-55 K receives it in your circle and if you can pls update us
None yet. I have a very close friend with 50-55K who will update me as soon as she hears anything (refusal/approval). Will be sure to update you guys then.

This is going to be another 46 cut off month. This is what I feel. We need to have patience not only us even the employers sponsoring us. Who knows if the cut off remains same it Might make the government think more as it is the month with more RCOS. Frankly my excitement of going to UK is gone. Am just waiting patiently to see what unfolds in the coming days.
Hi

how you are saying cut off would be 46 , if it is I hope they update all the certificates has refused which are less than 46 and then started considering only the certificates with high points . since most of us doesn't get any updates means they are processing so please wait don't lose the hope.
I am starting to get nervous that it will be a 46 point month, too.... The pattern of approvals and how stagnant they seem to be is a sad sign that this month just might follow the rest.
I really hope I am very wrong about this and it drops below 40 but only the HO knows.

can someone please clarify the difference between applying as new entrant or experienced in term of points in rcos ? I qualify for new entrant and my salary range between 50k-55k non shortage. Do I have more chances of getting rcos as new entrant vs experienced ? thank you

Typically the process is that the Home Office has 5 business days to inform everyone about their RCOS status, approved, rejected or refused. For the past few months sometimes it has just been a guideline and can come anywhere from two weeks after the 11th.

right, so at the moment. all the negativity in the forum (which is perfectly normal) is nothing but speculation from the lack of any news. btw, do u reckon tht many will have to do another RLMT for next month due to waiting from December?? waiting from december myself btw.

I don't know how much more I can take of this!!! My girlfriend has a great job offer in the UK which has been on hold for 4 months now. She has 30 points and is ready to leave Australia. House has been sold, arrangements made for new UK life and we are sat waiting. It has been 21 points for last 2 - 3 years, I hope they return to business as normal or find a way of clearing the back log. I know the company who she is hoping to work for have gone to extreme lengths and costs, so hopefully not in vein!

I just received news!!!!! :D

My RCoS was approved 10min ago. Non-shortage 60 points!

Best of luck to everyone!
Congrats ! your score is enough to get the RCOS in any month :)

It seems you get the result in on time. I hope the process in this month is faster than before.
Yeah, but unfortunately I didn't get it last month with 50 points, but luckily I was able to apply with a higher salary this time ;)
Congrats Buddy.

Just a quick question !!

Did your company did an RLMT again or they just increased the salary.

I think i may convince my company to increase from 50k to 60k, but will that require the RLMT test again is my question

I’m in the same position M2RKK. Came back from the U.K. in December and have been in Australia ever since with my room, boyfriend and life of the past 2 years in the U.K. Waiting with 34 points.

Anyone with 50 Points got Approval Today?

How many more days its pertinent to Wait for Approval? or If its not Approved tomorrow then we can say that it is been rejected?

Not rejected, but refused.. There is a difference between being rejected and being refused.

I had some hope with the quick replies that came out on Thursday from the Home Office. Things seemed to have been moving along last week. However it looks like the pattern of responses and feedback from the Home Office has fallen to something similar to what we've seen in all the previous months.

I'm bracing myself for this to be the new norm. At 31 pts, there are probably 100s of people in front of me. No priority will ever be given to people like me who have been waiting for months and months. I think it's time to brace ourselves that this pattern may continue for many months

No, they just move slowly sometimes due to staff shortages etc. If you don't get a response tomorrow it does not mean it is refused. Last month it took almost a week for approvals to go out. At 50 points you should be hopeful!

Hey guys, a friend just said that they had another friend get their CoS approved at 50 points. Again im stressing that this is third hand knowledge but he seems pretty sure about it.

How active has the facebook group you belong been, such as has there been a lot of people getting certificates regardless of shortage/non shortage or has it been dead like this board?

Below 55 it has been dead besides this one. We have a lot of shortage occupation doctors getting their CoS though.

Rcos, 50 points, non-shortage. I have been wrong before because the home office tends to be funny with doctor's applications but im really hoping im right and we see a lot more approvals tomorrow.
