EEA FAMILY PERMIT GRANTED AFTER 2 YEAR OVERSTAY

Post by lsz » Mon Apr 21, 2008 12:22 pm

HI FIRSTLY I WOULD LIKE TO THANK U THIS BEAUTIFUL FORUM , thanx for all the comments and advice i went back to Zimbabwe and successfully applied for a family permit which was granted despite my 2 year overstay , i explained in a letter to the home office why i had overstayed and they did not even call me 4 an interview , i was honest in the letter and the application form and did not try to put any deceptive information . my advice is tell the truth sometimes people get into messy situations and then they end up overstaying or even doing worse things in their lives so just be honest and prove you are in a genuine relationship by reading the stickies posted here and do not lie , if you are in a genuine relationship just hang on in there and be patient so good luck to all genuine couples out there and wish u the best
as for me i now have to deal with my EEA 2 application not sure what the outcome will be and how long it takes so any advice is welcome
