Guidance notes for case workers of the Home Office - FLR (IR)

Post by ZzJackson » Thu Apr 19, 2018 9:20 pm

I need the guidance notes for an FLR (IR) application which is written for the caseworkers of the Home Office.
I have found the case worker's guidance notes for an FLR (HRO) application but I can't find the same for the FLR (IR).

Please help or provide guidance.

If you can't find it either, can I actually request this information from the FOI?

Administrative review and right to appeal for IR

Post by ZzJackson » Fri Apr 20, 2018 1:04 pm

Is there a right to appeal given to applicants of the FLR (IR)? (I cannot find this information in the guidance notes for the applicant)

Is there an option of applying for an administrative review once the decision is made? (I cannot find this information in the guidance notes for the applicant)

What is your immigration history?

How does your history relate to your FLR(IR) question and possible appeal or AR options?

I am on a Tier 4 visa and my university has committed fraud. I have evidence of it. I am not going anywhere until the time I have finished my course. So I have decided to apply for FLR (IR) and tell the Home Office what has happened

Questions about FLR (IR):

If you have ticked the other category please explain briefly why you are applying for an extension of stay in the UK, including what route you are applying for. (Page 14 of the FLR – IR) application.

Please elaborate what does that above question mean?

What route am I applying for? Student/Tier 4? Could you please tell me what do I need to write here?

Varying a flr (ir) to flr (fp)

Post by ZzJackson » Sat Apr 28, 2018 11:08 am

I have applied for flr (ir - other - within the rules of immigration) but after speaking to a senior solicitor, I have been advised to apply for flr (fp - pruvate) as the previous app is not the most apt .. I have dumped my previous solicitor for giving me substandard advice. If no decision is made on my flr (fp) for a few months n I get to ilr eligibility .. can I vary it again?

In a nutshell, 1. r v allowed to vary an flr (ir) to flr (fp)

2. R v allowed to vary twice
