Can I change my name before BRP or after receiving it

Hello everyone, I came to the UK in 2001 and I ve been caught working by fault name and I claimed asylum and didn't change my name even when my children were born I give tgem my false name and surname and now it seems that I will be granted and I don't know if I change it after receiving BRP or I send now to the home office and give them my right identity
