Evidence of absences from UK

Hi there,
I am applying for ILR as PBS dependent (5 years).

Do I need to provide letter from my employer for my absences from the UK for the last 5 years?

The problem is that I have changed companies during this period, and it will be difficult to get letters from those companies.

Could anyone please confirm whether I need to provide letter for my absences?

You don't need to provide any absence before 11 Jan 2018, as the new 180 days leave rule effective to PBS dependent only after 11 Jan 2018.

Thanks a lot Cyclina1, no trips for me in 2018, so it's ok I guess.

Wondering how it will work for dependents who are not working, but have taken a trip abroad (after 11 Jan 2018). What kind of evidence they would provide for their personal trips?
