You should have a message confirming that the HO received your document. Council should give you receipt of payment made for NDRS and a copy of document that you sent through them. Call them back with the case number they will surely help.stote1 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 12:12 pmNeed some help here please,
I applied online on the 22 March and had appointment with NDRS service on the 27th March, all documents photocopied and some originals sent , like employer letter and life in uk test result, references including pictures and passport application , today 21st April i received a letter from Home Office stating that if i don't send all the supporting documents for my online application they will cancel the application, as i already sent the documents via ndrs ( maybe they didn't receive them) what are my options now?
ThanksBreev wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 3:21 pmYes, once you have completed the online application & paid the fee, the biometrics letter is automatically generated. You can then download & print it.nick2018 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 3:20 pmI am about to make an online application in a couple of weeks and use NDRS for my documents . Could anyone confirm the letter for biometrics is generated at the time of submitting the online application? I have been looking at time scales and it seems that the biometric letter is the same day... Could anyone clarify please. Thanks.
Hi GranadaGranada wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 2:15 pmHi,
Posting here as I am not allowed to ask on the timeline thread. anyone here applied online early March and still waiting for answer, I am getting worried as those who applied through NCS have got theirs much quicker and also people are posting about online applications from late March that received approval already. any advice is much appreciated.

Take all docs to proce English language, i was in the same boat. got checklist without request for language proof, so didnt send it. got a letter back asking for me to send it to them. so that has delyed my application. so my adive is you can never send too much infomation.areczkowski24 wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 2:58 amHello everyone,
I just submitted my online aplication for British citizenship .
After payment I downloaded document checklist and on the document checklist for two applicants (my wife and my self ) is like 12 points...
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS:
1. The passport issued by Poland for Mr...
2. Proof of identity and nationality for my wife
OTHER DOCUMENTS:
3. for me life in the UK test
4. for my wife life in the UK test
5. Proof of living in the UK for me
6. Proof of living in the UK for my wife
7. Two referees declaration for me
8.Two referees declaration for my wife
9. For me evidence of identity
10. For my wife evidence of identity
11.for me proof of nationality
12. For my wife proof of nationality .
I'm really confused with that checklist?
What about English knowledge? They do not need my certificate for online application ?
So I planned to take with me for appointment I'm not sure if is enough?
- EU ID + passport for me and my wife
- live in the UK test certificate for me and my wife
- p60 last 5 years for me and my wife
- English knowledge certificate grade 5 b1 Trinity college
- two Referees for me and my wife
- permanent residents card for me and my wife
I'm not sure if is enough for HO ?
Please anyone can help.
Thanks in advance.
Hi areczkowski24! This English language requirement issue that you have highlighted seems to be a common problem when using the online application. It does NOT show up on the checklist. Refer to the comments on this thread.areczkowski24 wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 2:21 pmThanks for your reply. But I'm wondering if on checklist thay don't asking for English knowledge certificate !you think council officer on my appointment will take copy as well? Is mean I can attach more documents what I want?
Thanks.

As mentioned by other posters on that thread, you should bring your certificate to the council appointment. The official will photocopy this also and include it with your supporting documentation.
Good luck with your application.

Am I the only one in this position?
Is there anything I can do to see if anything has gone wrong anywhere?

Hi Twine,Twine wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 4:13 pmHi areczkowski24,
You need to go to the appointment with the following items:
- Completed application form and proof of payment details
- Passport-sized photos
- Signed referee statements
- Document from the Home Office confirming Permanent Residence Status (this should have been held for at least 12 months)
- Life in UK test
- English qualification or Degree certificate (plus NARIC letter if applicable)
- Passport(s) covering the last 5 years / European ID Card
- Evidence of residency in the UK for the last 5 years
- Most recent tax self-assessment statement (if self-employed)
- Marriage / civil partnership certificate if you are applying as a married couple / civil partners
- Driving licence (if used as ID for Life in UK test)
From your previous comments...areczkowski24 wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 2:58 amSo I planned to take with me for appointment I'm not sure if is enough?

...I think you mentioned everything except the printout of the application forms with payment details, the passport-sized photos, the marriage certificate and (maybe?) your driving licence (if it was used as ID for the LitUK test? ...I used my passport though).
My EEA spouse and I applied for naturalisation jointly in March (online+NDRS+JCAP) so we sent similar documentation then.
If you have additional issues with your application (too many days abroad, a custodial sentence, etc.) then of course you will need to supply additional documentation to cover that. Booklet AN lists the 'standard' supporting documentation you will need from pages 12 - 15. If you do have a 'less straightforward' case, I would suggest that you read the rest of the booklet for advice on additional documentation.
Cheers,
Twine

You only need the marriage certificate if you are applying under the 3-year rule if married to a British Citizen. Otherwise not required.

To your second question: Three (3) photos per applicant if you are doing a joint citizenship and passport application - british-citizenship/photographs-require ... 46875.html. Not sure if one or two for the app by itself.
