Changes on 8 feb and flr(ied) ?

Post by richsam » Wed Mar 02, 2005 1:57 pm

Hiya folks,

I received my hsmp visa, which was dated 21 feb 05. I now have to apply for the flr(ied).

Previously I was on a working holiday visa...does anyone know if the recent changes announced on 8 Feb will therefore not allowmy flr(ied) application to be succesful?

thanks

Have you been working in the UK for the last 12 months?

and just to mix things up a bit...

does anyone have an idea (experience) of how long it takes for the flr(ied) to be processed? my hsmp took less than one month, while the published times are over 6 months.

the reason i ask is that i travel for work quite a lot and wouldnt want to jeopardise my current job...if it takes ages a bit of forward planning might be necessary.

cool
