IF a child is born in UK by a Non - CItizen Couple in UK

can anybody please tell me if a child is born in UK by a couple who is Inidan Nationals and are in UK for further studies. Can that child has a citizenship by Birth.

If one or both of the parents has ILR when the child is born, the born-in-the-UK child will be British as soon as born ..... automatically.

Otherwise the child will not be British, but as soon as a parent has ILR it will be possible to Register him/her as British, but that involves the filling in of a form and the payment of a fee, currently £400.
