New to the forum. Based on this, I have a question. Does the Home Office screens application in no particular sequence? I believe they would be looking based on descending order of points. Based on posts in this thread, on Friday, both 75 and 45 pointers got through.
I am waiting with 50 p still haven't heard anything and I saw another person waiting with 60 on friday so I really doubt this info is true maybe the person moved to a shortage job ... but if it's true this is a very good news for everyone

Exept that in April we had the backlog from March as the min score in March was 60
the key point of the hard currently situation is the new request per each month is growing, especially the high score(over 60k), if it keeps in that way, there is no hope for the guys in the waiting backlog
The numbers in this excel file is in contradiction with here https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ponsorshipflerin wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 7:25 amI've found some (somewhat) helpful info. This excel sheet was information issued from Home Office under freedom of information act - it shows how many were approved/denied in each band of points. Sadly it looks like the numbers are only going up

Thank you. Can you please explain how to calculate the points ?ashishkm wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 3:13 pmAbhishekAbhishek2905 wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 1:38 pmI wanted to know, there is 30 points for RLTM or 20 points. Resident labour market test met by the ‘milkround’ gives u 30 (provisions and the individual being sponsored meets the ‘post study work’ provisions)
otherwise, job passes resident labour market test gives u 20
Did u account for the number of applicants that applied in December whose RLMT is now expired. So if u take an increase compare to the previous months except april, without any scientific backing I think the number would actually reduce from last month. Like everything that's been said here, my thoughts are also pure speculation. It's best we wait until Wednesday when we know some hard facts. Just my opinion. I'm waiting since Jan with 41 points and second RLMT.Shaahin wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 4:28 pmThis is a rough estimation based on the excel file and RCoS allocations
If things are similar as previous months, then there is no hope for below 46, including me!
Estimation of 45p applicants is linear increase from April, i.e. #April + (#April-#March)
Estimation of other brackets is either similar to above or simple moving average with weights 0.8,0.15,0.05.
Not very scientific estimations, and not even logically consistent table, but it tells the story.
Ps. Every cell is the new applicants, except for 45p which is cumulative.
No I did not know about it. So let's say this is a pessimistic estimation. However, according to the excel file, there are 217 applicants with 45p in December. The above has to be cleared by now. Reducing that number from 45p bracket still does not change the situation, considering the certificates available for May.Adeeb_saeed wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 4:48 pm

Yeah it basically all comes down to how many applications there are going to be with 46+ points. If there are less than 1400 applications with 46+ then 45 can be cleared this month. And that was the case for many of the months last year but not recently. If 45 gets cleared this month then good chances for 40-45 to be cleared in June. All we can do is hope and inform each other with our results on this forum as soon as we get them. Good luckShaahin wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 5:02 pmNo I did not know about it. Yea ur right about the clearing of the backlog for 46+. I guess it's just a case of waiting to know on the number of applicants this month on the 46+ case. Not to mention we won't have the carry over of the 50 and 55 point in May like April had from March. I mean its all just speculation again hahaha.Shaahin wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 5:02 pmNo I did not know about it. So let's say this is a pessimistic estimation. I am new to this forum.
