lost my British Passport along with OCI card in India

Hi Members,

I am currently in India and unfortunately i have lost my British Passport along with OCI card. Can someone please help me to understand the process to apply for these from India?

Can i apply for a re-issue of OCI card from Lucknow FRRO office through Misc service just using the photo copy of my lost British Passport? OR i would have to first apply for a new British Passport and then apply for OCI card? i have a the Police FIR letter for the lost of these documents.

An early response would be appreciated!!
