Speaking with my immigration lawyer she expects the cutoff will be at salaries of 55k or more (i.e. 55 points with salary + residential labour market test).
I echo the same this way people at 45 and below will never get a rcos:-(

Hi all,
I heard from my employer that the status of my rCos application is shown "under review".
Is anyone other waiting/has waited on same status?
How far the wait goes?
thanks,
Yojana

Everyone needs to stop speculating so much. Just let the results come in. No one knows the cut off. At the end of the week we should all hopefully have our answers.
4th time applying 41 points.

Did they mention the reason , was it due to points not meeting the minimum pts required in month or some other error in your application like labour market test

Anybody with 45 points received refusal email?
Also what about folks with 50 pts. Anybody received response from HO approved/refused?

If it is a refusal, it means that the cut off once again is above 40 points. At this point applying for a COS with less than 45 points seems to be just hitting the head into a wall.

Thanks Shoukat771 it seems a bit of disappointment for lower points since home office says 40pts dint meet the requirement this month as well

Just read this on Bbc News
Between December and March, 1,226 IT specialists and 383 engineers were denied visas to take up jobs they had been offered. In addition 1,876 medical practitioners and healthcare workers, 197 teachers and 584 other professions were unable to take up their job offers in the UK.

Cut off could never be any lower than 45 since huge backlog at 45 (600+ people) has to be cleared first. Only then in following months can below 45 get through. So 45 is the least we can hope for. And 55 has already seen approvals so definitely not higher than 55. So it is between 45 and 55 points. I guess by the end of the day we'll have the story.

There has been plenty of media coverage on this on BBC as well as the Guardian, as well as news of Home Sec. lobbying No 10 on easing the restrictions but to no avail.
I think now this whole thing is the new normal now. Have been waiting at 30 points forever and my RLMT is due to expire this month. Not sure if the employer will be willing to redo the whole process again. Sigh

as you said , I would be happy if they clear the backlog of 45 points this month, still waiting with 40 points 2nd attempt. but one person with 40 points has been refused , so I believe I will also get the same. I have 2 more attempts before my visa expires. Best of luck to all

agree. i really really wish that the cut off can decline to 45, then the rest of us can still keep hope in the next few months.

The problem is that even though a lot of Uk companies and societies have urged the government to make changes that would end this problem, The prime minister has vetoed their plans entirely and has been stuck on this process . Since visa have been rejected since December the number of rejection per month has just increased which have just cumulated into this massive number.

45 needs to be cleared this month or that number is just going to grow again. I just find it so hard to belief that the government is turning a blind eye to this problem. It’s been months the government has been made aware of this. News agencies have written numerous articles on it. The Home Secretary was recently sacked and replaced due to hostile immigration policies , and we still in this mess is appalling

Speak to your company and see what they say , don’t loose hope . I too was scared when I read the number on Bbc news , this is a new article which has just been posted an hour ago . But the number on this article do not reconcile with the excel spreadsheet some one has posted earlier and this is what scares me , the number on the article are much higher than the excel spreadsheet
