Holiday In Northern Ireland

Post by detectableink » Fri May 18, 2018 5:23 pm

My wife has just become a British citizen and we want to travel together on holiday in Northern Ireland shortly. She had a British naturalization certificate however she has just sent this off in order to get a new UK passport as soon as possible. Can we travel in the mean-time without her UK passport IF we bring a PHOTOCOPY of my wife's naturalization certificate as well as her OLD Philippine passport for Photo ID (Passport still in date but not a UK passport AND no longer valid due to loss of Philippine Citizenship when becoming a UK national.

Hope this makes sense.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK! You don't need a passport to holiday there.
