Post by leejayval » Sat May 19, 2018 8:47 pm

hi,

I need help with regards to my new COS, i amcurrently under tier 2 general (shortage list) and changing employer but my new company issued me a restricted COS as shown on the certificate. My understanding is that IT Should be an unrestricted COS as i am already in the UK. Is this gonna be an issue when i submit my application to Home Office? Do i tell this to the HR so they can amend? Many thanks.

IT or not, you need unrestricted COS for a change of employment within the UK. Make sure your sponsor issues you a new and correct COS.
I am not a lawyer and do not claim to be one. All my comments here are based on my opinions, experience and interpretation of the appropriate UKVI guidance documents and immigration rules.
