Studying while working

Post by shayan_ » Fri Jun 08, 2018 3:36 pm

I am a non-EU national and I am currently employed by a British organisation but working remotely from home from another country (non-EU).

I am planning to study my postgraduate certificate in UK. Before I apply for any programs, I would like to clarify below subjects:

1 - If I move to UK to study, do I have to amend my full-time contract to work 20 hours a week or I can continue working full-time for them?

2 - Is there a legal way to add full-time working permission to my Tier 4 visa terms?

You cannot work full time on a student visa. You are limited to 20 hours per week.

If your purpose is to find a way into the UK to still work full time, then student visa is not the route for you and you will have to find out if you qualify for a Tier 2 General work visa.
