My documents was return on the 19/05/18 I applied 27/04/18 and documents was sent to Sheffield 3/05/18. Me or my employer haven’t received any phone calls and I’m waiting for 27 days now. Sometimes they return documents after decision is made, if you do not hear from them within now and the next 5 working days which will be 30 working days then you can contact them for escalation.Nkhan18 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 5:45 amHello Everyone,Nabeela78680 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 07, 2018 1:45 pm
Yes im waiting until next week and if not i will contact mp; its so stressing
Just wanted to know when you sent your documents to sheffield did you stated on the envelope it's a "Priority"? Because my documents was sent by my solicitor to sheffield and I asked him did you write Priority on the envelope he said he didn't and doesn't matter ECO will know it when they process the application. Today I went to VFS global website and read the guidelines its says" when you send your documents to sheffield and If you have paid for the priority fee this should be clearly labelled on the envelope addressed to UKVI, stating the word “priority” at the side of the GWF number". I'm thinking because mine is not stated as Priority ECO must have left as unopened in chronological order thought as normal application?. Today I called UK Visa centre they said nothing has decided yet I have to wait 30 working days before they can escalate it. Mine is 25 working days now since biometric has given. No phone call to me or employer or returned the documents.
Yeh I will contact them next week on Friday which will be mine 30 working days, also I received an email today, few hours later after I spoken to Contact centre. that email is an automated reply. Stating .......
" Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer........... If you have paid for Priority Service, your application will be placed in front of the queue and assessed ahead of other non-priority visa applications others but may still take 12 weeks to conclude if we require further time to consider the application. As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fees, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed"
I rang them again yesterday and the guy was like your application is awaiting decision and you should get a decision on Monday 11/06/18. Don’t know where he gets that information from but let’s see on Monday.
