Incorrect details on Tier 2 visa application form

Hi Team

My partner is applying for Tier 2 dependant visa and he already submitted the application form online. However, he made one mistake relating to the date of his previous travel to the UK as a visitor.

Would it be possible to manually cross out the incorrect date and write the correct date on the printed application form? We are hoping that this is fine, so that he doesn't have to cancel the application and create a new one.

Manually correct it by hand, it should be fine.
