Guys, I am on 40 points. My status changed from ‘Pending’ to ‘Under review’ just now. Does that help in our prediction of cut off points.
This means that the Home Office is going to request more information from your employer regarding the CoS. In all probability, it will not be considered in this month’s window. Your application will be considered next month now.

For all of the questions on this forum regarding how the certificates are granted/rejected by the home office; and what is the meaning of “pending”, “under review”, “rejected”, etc please refer to this guideline-

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 2.0ext.pdf

Hopefully it will answer all your queries.

Exactly. The cut off cannot be 60.

Also, I urge all of you on this forum to please not to wait dormantly for your employers to send you an email with regard to rejection or approval. PLEASE EMAIL THEM AND ASK ABOUT THE STATUS. Many a times employers dont instantly inform about the status of COS. PLEASE ASK YOUR EMPLOYER.

I am still waiting with 50 points. I haven't asked my employer yet, because it will sound desperate. I am assuming if a COS is approved, HO will email employer about the same. If my employer would have received any email, i am sure he would have informed me as i was constantly on conf. call with him throughtout the day.

Does anyone know whether HO emails about the COS or they just update it on SMS portal.?

Hello All,
I am following this thread since January. Never posted anything before, Because I knew the situation in UK from some of my ex colleagues. After my offer, every month i was very eager to see the minimum set points and update from people in this blog. Really, i got so much of information about the UKVI.

Suddenly, one will say got my RCOS with 40 points. After that, everyone will start discussing the same. Then, there will be no response from the guy who posted 40 Points. Few says, I dono. Point was 40 which is mentioned my employer and few says RCOS accepted by excemptional cases.

I had an offer from Non SOL with RLMT. All together 42 Points. My employer tried continously 3 months, RCOS was not issued. Later, My employer cancelled my offer since there will be no opportunity to get RCOS in the near future. They didnt get the people till today, Even though they are not ready to revise my salary.
They are one of the biggest group in UK.

What i understand, Points will never come down below 46/50/51 until there is change in HO policy. Lets hope for the best...

We were discussing about Doctors in the same link. May i know how many doctors are allocated since December out of 2200 Monthly allocation. If they are good in nos, There is a chance of reduction. It cannot be more than 50 Since 37% is the successful rate of Doctors.

If doctors are exempted, it will give space for around 500 certificates in july. Should help people between 40 and 45...

First time posting, long term lurker.

I'm sorry but that makes no sense re: reasoning as to why someone with 50 points would get priority because he/she studied in the UK. Unless they were considered under exceptional circumstances (ie. Outside the monthly quota), 50 points is 50 points.

So it would appear from the results we've seen so far (unless these individuals have miscalculated their points / don't realise they are on the shortage list / were considered under exceptional circumstances), the cut off should be around 50 points. This is no surprise given the cut off for previous months with similar allocation, the number of applicants, etc. (see the data released by the HO further to FOI requests)

Last month, we got results around the 5 business day post-meeting mark, so we will have to be patient before we see more approvals/refusals being posted, which will provide a better idea of the cut-off.

For anyone that hits the cap this month, there is a chance for next month sorting itself out hopefully...

Looks like nurses will be removed, and I can't tell, they might be raising the cap? Fingers crossed it gets down to 30 (and below!) for us lowly numbers.

WOW. Let's wait for official announcement. As far as I understand they will not increase the cap. 8000 migrants mentioned in article is looks like the approximate number of NHS both SOL and Non-SQL migrants per year which obtains RCoS from 20700 available. So if as mentioned foreign doctors and nurses from outside the EU will be excluded from the "tier 2" visa cap - this means plus 8000 RCoS for the rest.

Thanks for reading properly - Drs removal doesn't have an effect on most because the GPs being denied are below the cut off, but nurses being removed will be good for everyone. I had faith Sajid would deliver, but good call waiting on the official announcement.
