Wish u best luck next month. For others it means that changes will start working from next month :(

BTW just to clarify - is you application was rejected or refused? There is a big difference.
What is a banding and how did you get your points as 43 points?
Sorry to hear the news buddy. I know it's harsh getting rejected for a RCoS, but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel for you. You will get through next month for sure.
If I may ask, is 21k some sort of variable component or bonus?

I want to just say something and put this out somewhere-

I REALLY WANT THIS TO BE OVER FOR EVERYONE STUCK BUT SPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN STUCK SINCE DECEMBER. THIS IS JUST UNFAIR. IF THERE IS SOME HIGHER POWER, THIS WILL BE OVER SOON!

And I know this is stupid, but just wanted to say it. Thats all.

Im sorry again.
I think they clearly mentioned new rules are effective from 6 july , so even may speaks and says immediate that is i think from july. and i am from 29 points i will be more happy if it's from june.

If you guys will read the change that has been implemented, the change says that how doctors and nurses no longer require a 'certificate of sponsorship'. The change (in the official immigration rules) does not say that the doctors and nurses will be exempted from the cap but still need a cos. So please understand, that YES, the change with regard to applications of doctors and nurses will be treated to not require a COS from 6th july, the change with regard to doctors and nurses requiring a COS is IMMEDIATE. There is no contradiction in what May has said and what the rules specify.

Read the official immigration rules for better understanding. Dont go by media articles! Since doctors and nurses no longer require a COS, they will be out of the cap immediately i.e. from June 15, 2018. And that is why the HO is taking this long to notify employers.
Read this now and it makes complete sense. This is likely to be the scenario this month.

This has already been contradicted, as we have a Doctor who has been refused a RCoS this month.

Why, then, was the previous poster who is a doctor refused?

It’s important to know if the doctor that just posted was rejected or refused as rejection is not points based where as refused is. This will clear it up for anyone 43k or under.

We do not know if he is refused or rejected and there is a lot of difference in them.
and sorry to say but the great solicitors of UK are not very helpful and provide only half information.

He's already confirmed that the COS request was refused (didn't have enough points).

Obviously doctors will be refused this month! Because they no longer require a COS!!! They just have to apply from 6th july onwards. The window has been kept open because if any doctor has recieved a COS in the previous months, he can still apply for a tier 2 visa with that otherwise it will be a waste.

Please understand, doctors and nurses no longer require a COS

They still require a CoS to apply for a tier 2 general visa. Their CoS will not be part of the monthly allocations and cut off as far as I understand.

No, the amendment to the rule puts all doctors anf nurses in the same category as people earning more than 1,59,000 pounds who do not require a COS..

You can refer to paragraph 77 of the new immigration rules.

I believe they still do - they need something called UNRESTRICTED CoS which is different from RESTRICTED CoS and as per my understanding an employer can have as many unrestricted COS as they want

Even if they do require a UNRESTRICTED COS as per you, will it make a difference here? NO! Because we are talking about a RCOS right? If they dont need a RCOS, ofcourse they will be out of this window.

Agree - I didn't say they would have any impact on RCOS - just saying what I thought differently from what you said

Was it 'Under review' previously or is this the first time you're getting to know the status?

Thanks
This is the first time Ive been told me the status. They generally just tell me if granted /refused. This time i specifically asked what the SMS portal was saying.
