Yes it is. Remember... it is the employer who puts out the advert for RLMT at the higher rate of 50k according to HO rules. I applied again, and they use this new RLMT to apply for COS. Nothing wrong in that I presume. I recall alot of us here have don't the same too. The employer only needs to make sure that they pay you the higher salary as per the RLMT advert. .. and YES, my employer agreed to do this...

My Company did not mentioned Salary in Advert.They just mentioned as Competitive and they applying RCOS since 3 months still refused based on points.I have raised concern with My manager to satisfy RMLT we need to mention salary.Company had taken legal advise and they conformed Competitive will be accepted by home office.

Please conform will home office consider RMLT with out Salary.

What makes you think the cut off is 56? If none of us have heard back yet there’s no way to know. Also, how are 56 points possible? Seems like points are allocated by 5s? (20 points for RMLT + 30 for 50 K OR 35 for 55k etc. ) no?

Can somebody help me establish how many points I have?

My salary is 40k, but my employer provides housing, and said this "bumps you up to 59k" in the rcos app. However, I THINK I remember seeing some sort of formula for calculating how much benefits such as housing provided by an employer can "count" towards point scores. Is anybody else in a situation in which their package includes both salary and housing?

Thank you. I don't know about a team, but they are working with an immigration lawyer. It is a school, so they don't tend to have enough new employees each year to necessitate a team, I think.

I was just told that my application is "Under Review", and also that the school has never experienced anything like the current situation; they and the attorney are baffled.

Thank you. I don't know about a team, but they are working with an immigration lawyer. It is a school, so they don't tend to have enough new employees each year to necessitate a team, I think.

I have a friend who works as an immigration lawyer as here - he said a situation like this is 'unprecedented' (delay on top of the squeeze due to points)

Does anyone know the best email to contact the Home Office with a question?

My employer received a letter stating my RCOS has been rejected due to the minimum salary not being met. However my hours are 25 hours per week so in a pro rata basis the minimum salary is being met. JWe recieved only refusals from Jan-May due to not meeting the required number of points but this month it’s a refusal.

My employer has email the tier2limits email address but has not had a response.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

I am only aware of this way to contact UKVI however it is said on the website "Contact centre staff cannot give you advice about your personal circumstances."

May I ask whether you received your update just now?

There is no appeals process for Rcos rejections so the best course of action would be to get a lawyer’s advice about your salary and try again the next month, Melsieau

Sorry but I believe that you qualify as part time in this case, so you will not qualify for the COS. If you look back a few pages the admin responded to you (if i am remembering correctly). That was my understanding as well.

Maybe you can increase your hours at work so you will qualify next month?

I received it on Friday last week. If the contact centre can't give me advice then I wonder who I need to contact? Someone must be able to explain why the same application was refused 5 times and then rejected the 6th?

Thanks guys. I have an immigration lawyer and she has advised that minimum working hours only apply to shortage occupations. She said she has had applicants in the past working 28 hours per week. The minimum salary has been met on a pro rata basis. If the salary was incorrect I would have though it would have been rejected back in January rather than being refused based on points??

Hi guys, Im with 44 points non-sol non NHS.

And I was informed by the HR yesterday that my RCOS status was showing “pending” under the SMS portal. I had also written to the immigration firm which is handling my tier 2 process asking about the delay. This is what I have recieved just now (extracting the relevant para from the email)

“While we are not in a position to conclusively tell you the exact reason for the delay, informal sources have indicated that the results should be out by 22nd of this month.”

Definitely this is unprecedented, but the key here is to be patient I think.

The firm could not answer my question with regard to whether doctors and nurses have been exempted from this month itself.

Every extra day delay -> extra day until you can put in your tier 2 application -> extra day until you find out about your outcome of your tier 2 -> extra day until you can start your job in UK -> lost day for your UK income from your created value for UK employer -> lost revenue for your UK employer and lost tax for HMRC

I presume everyone is losing out for these delays

I see a lot of anticipation for an early result and lot of dejection about the delay. Trust, everyone agrees that a delayed response means HO and ministry is trying to consider how can docs and nurses be move out of RCOS in June itself since PM said 'immediate effect' and therefore HO is holding back the decision for common good.

If we receive the outcomes early like all other months be sure that its business as usual and docs are nurses are to get RCOS for june for sure. Your chances then reduce drastically and only hope is July for 44+ and August for 30+ folks

So, hope everyone understands that delay is positive sign for folks under 55.

I know that state too - being stuck since December! I now feel numb to all this, because it can't get worse than what we all have been through!

Indeed. All's well that ends well. Just hoping this is actually the reason of the delay. Because otherwise it makes no sense.
