A bit of analysis for interested people. Below is May'18 Data taken from FOI
Points May-18
Granted Refused
40 0 137
41 0 36
42 0 107
43 0 72
44 0 67
45 0 554
46 0 19
47 0 0
48 0 2
49 0 0
50 4 347
51 1 0
Assuming, we have 700 CoS freed up to be distributed among the refused people. 45 is certainly not going out in first Month. And this is May data, June and July will certainly have more applications at 45K and 50K.
if doctors and nurses are out, then cutoff is likely to be 46 and a lot of CoS carried forward to next month, if not, God bless us all.
Yes but ur failing to take into consideration that the 45 points also has doctors. So that's going to come down and so will the 50 point ones. The 750 avg of doctors and nurses that have been approved all these months and will be freed for the next month will cover that. Also there are certs being returned after not being used for the three months. 45 will get through next month mate.
yes, there will be and there will also be spike in number of applications, so it should kind of nullify it. Also as per newspapers, Junior doctors are mostly getting rejected and they are likely to be at 40K. A small search on glassdoor reveals doctors salary.

Appreciating , u took time to share us this analysis. Kindly also share the link from where the above stats are available in Home office site.
So, if we go by above stats, 45 may not go through in July month's quota as well and probably only in August month's quota, 45 and below would see some light .. Ufff... so mch waiting
God give us some strength !
Why would 4 requests at 50 points be granted and others not? I thought the rule is either ALL or NONE. Is it linked to exceptional circumstances?
Yes, it could be because of exceptional circumstances!
yes, likely exceptional or may be Croatians.

This please.
All this speculation and respeculation is useless. Nobody knows anything for sure accept those who are accepted or rejected.
Now that we are getting results please refrain from posting unless you have real acceptance/rejection/refusal or news.

if going by the data, there are a lot doctors on 45 points. i have been trying since jan and have seen loads in here on 45. so lets say 30% in both 45 and 50. so that in itself will cover it. And the spike will be in August since most will have stopped after the validity of their RMLT expiring. Just saying with the availability of almost a 1000 free spots next months, it'll go through. this is counting the 750 avg of doctors and nurses coded that were being approved every month and the avg of the returned certs all year. Obviously all of this is speculation but this is the best chance we have had since Dec 2017.

when u apply with emergency, they go by the previous months cut off. so going by that, 50 would not have been approved. only 55 would've been.

No, isn't
I'm super nervous about this, and I love that this thread presents the thoughts, speculations, and status of others in my situation. I don't know anybody in "real life" who is applying for a UK visa, so checking this thread is a great comfort to me. Keep up the speculations and thoughts

Looks like HO is just sending the replies today. They already knew the cut off much earlier.

I'm on 30 as well and was refused before midday today (I have access to the system and checked myself).
Good luck with everyone else!
