Anybody with 55 points got approved ?

“We are please to inform you that your COS has been approved. We will begin the Tier 2 visa process for you now.”

^this is what I dreamt of recieveing.

This is what I actually recieved-

“The COS application made for you this month has been refused by the Home Office due to not meeting the minimum points required. We will be requesting for a COS for the month of July. Will keep you posted.”

I am with 44 points, NON NHS, NON SOL and NO HOPE.

blah - i hate this. sorry to all you 50s, i had some glimmer of hope this month... wishful thinking. waiting for my refusal at 30.

I'm on 30 as well and was refused before midday today (I have access to the system and checked myself).

There are more than 400 people in 50's i think...thats why its taking time ......I have Not yet recieved - Status - Under Review , Still waiting with 55 points ......Do they also calculate 55 , 56 , 57 ,58 , 59 etc., or they will directly jump to 60 ???

No, isn't I'm super nervous about this, and I love that this thread presents the thoughts, speculations, and status of others in my situation. I don't know anybody in "real life" who is applying for a UK visa, so checking this thread is a great comfort to me. Keep up the speculations and thoughts

Yes oneanxiousteacher, i agree with you. Seeing the posts and speculations of people comfort me that I am not alone in this. I really do hope all of this on this forum can get through by september end, and we can definitely organise to meet one day in the UK. Knowing all of you lovely souls in person will be a delight.

I know that feeling when no one in your family or friend circle understands this shit we are going through. Hard luck for us, who have been trying since December. The faith and hope I had is slowing wearing down!

My employer always have multiple RLMTs available at all times. They keep on renewing the RLMTs before they expire.

You cannot score 56 to 59, so yes, after 55, it is 60

Cut off at 56 simply means anyone scoring less then 56 points were refused. That is how the Home Office always discloses cut-offs 21/46/51/56 etc.

If you check the point based system the bands on higher salaries are in such a way that one would either be at 55 or 60. There is nothing in between. Hope this clears the doubt for you.
