Hi,

I would like to apply for PR. My questions is that while I was a freelancer I also claimed working tax credits and child tax credits. My income was a bit over the minimum but not much. Does it affect my PR application? Also, how can I get proof of it? everything is online and the HO do not accept them.

Also, my husband is British (Naturalized) Do I have to wait one yeat after i get the PR to take the Life in the UK test? Or the 3 years rule applies to me?

You can do the LIUK test at ANY point, even now, it does not expire.

If you hold DCPR and you are married to a British citizen, you can apply as soon as you have the DCPR as spouse of BC based on 3 years residence, provided you meet ALL the requirements, including being physically present exactly 3 years ago on the date you apply for citizenship.
