MN1 Fees

Post by Jonnystar » Thu Jul 05, 2018 10:34 pm

Hi all

I recently was trying to fill up an online application for my son to be registered as a BC. Both me and my wife have recently gotten ILR and he was born in the UK.

Most of the application form is pretty simple except when it came down to the payment page. It was asking me to pay £1330, but when I look online it is supposed to be 1012 and since he is only 4 he will not require a ceremony.

I have no issues paying the amount just wanted to make sure that this is the correct amount requested so that the form does not get rejected.

£1330 is for adult naturalisation (AN!)
£1012 for children (MN1)

Thanks alterhase58. That i what I thought and I redid my application and found out where the issue was.

The link from the council site takes you to fill out AN1 by default even though it says MN1. I googled and it took me to the correct link and I completed the application and the fees which were 1012.
