For some reason HO put me on the 10 years rout, I've no idea why :?:
However I think I do qualify for the 5 years route.

Can I request HO to provide feedback on their decision? and how?
Any questions are welcome if you need.
all sort of help/advise will be highly appreciated
thanks

How do you know you have been put on the 10 year route?

What exactly does the approval letter state?

it is written on the HO letter received with passport. it states at the end
(Non-Standard 2)- because you satisfy the requirements of paragraph GEN.3.2. of Appendix FM;
it means that you are currently on a 10 year route to settlement. If you continue to meet the requirements and make the appropriate application for further leave to remain, you are likely to be eligible to apply for settlement in 10 years. If you are later able to meet the requirements and make an appropriate application, it is open to you to switch to start a 5 year route; however , time spent on the 10 year route will not be counted towards it.

Type the whole approval letter text, taking out personal information.

What does the visa vignette state as visa category?

That means that you did not meet the normal requirements for a spousal visa, but were issued one on human rights grounds.
Appendix FM wrote:GEN.3.2.(1) Subject to sub-paragraph (4), where an application for entry clearance or leave to enter or remain made under this Appendix, or an application for leave to remain which has otherwise been considered under this Appendix, does not otherwise meet the requirements of this Appendix or Part 9 of the Rules, the decision-maker must consider whether the circumstances in sub-paragraph (2) apply.

(2) Where sub-paragraph (1) above applies, the decision-maker must consider, on the basis of the information provided by the applicant, whether there are exceptional circumstances which would render refusal of entry clearance, or leave to enter or remain, a breach of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, because such refusal would result in unjustifiably harsh consequences for the applicant, their partner, a relevant child or another family member whose Article 8 rights it is evident from that information would be affected by a decision to refuse the application.

I actually do meet all the normal requirements for a spouse visa,
my husband earns way above the min. threshold £18600, all the documents were provided(payslips, bank statements, employer letter, contract of employment)
IELTS life skills A1 certificate
marriage certificate, husband divorce certificate along with the other relationship evidence(flights tickets, hotel bookings, chat logs, pictures and money transfer)
TB certificate
Accomodation documents(tenancy agreement,landlord NOC,property inspection report)

It would be useful if you could answer my post above.

Many people get a letter with this paragraph but it does not necessity mean you are on the 10 year route which is why I have asked you to post the whole content of letter and stated exactly what your visa says under category.

Dear CR001/secret.simon
You are 100% right, I have double checked and cross checked the content of letter with the vignette.
Visa category is D-Standard which is the 5 year route.
apologies, I've missed interpret and panicked
Thanks a lot for prompt response
