Hi - This may be a basic question but it doesnt seem to be quite clear on gov.uk website.
I entered UK in 2004 via workpermit, moved to HSMP in 2007, got my ILR settlement in 2010 and my British citizenship in 2013.
I married my wife in June 2012 but she was originally on PSW visa and moved to my spouse visa only in July 2013 thus she is only eligible to apply for ILR as spouse of me being the british citizen in July 2018 (5 yr route).
We have appointment for visa at premium centre next weekend but its not clear which application form to fill. Is it SET(O) which looks quite generic and doesnt sound relevant at many places OR is it SET(M) which seems to be for spouse dependents of folks on ILR (not british citizen)?
Would appreciate any urgent advise.

Hi
I am a British Citizen (naturalised via settlement process) and have an appointment for my wife who is on spouse dependent visa for her settlement ILR application at premium service centre in Birmingham next weekend.
However, we just realised the appointment we booked is for SET(O) application category which is the wrong category for her visa and she should be applying for SET(M) application category.
There is no option to change the premium appointment to change the visa category and its impossible to get appointment for premium service last minute now.
WOuld anyone know if they will accept our application for SET(M) if we booked an appointment for SET(O) category?
Many Thanks

So, I did some more research and figured that SET(M) is most likely the right visa category to apply for my wife as dependent on me as a british citizen.
However, we just realised the premium centre appointment we booked for next weekend is for SET(O) application category which is the wrong category for her visa and she should be applying for SET(M) application category.
There is no option to change the premium appointment to change the visa category and its impossible to get another appointment for premium service last minute now.
WOuld anyone know if the premium center will accept our application for SET(M) if we booked an appointment for SET(O) category?
Thanks

Just check again do you really need to apply for SET (M) ILR or SET (o) ? Has you partner already completed 5 years as a spouse of British citizens Or ILR holder ?
It would be really helpful if you post your/ your partner brief immigration history so an experienced person can advise you better.
I think you can apply for Variation of ILR application and the following link would be helpful to get information required to follow the process .

You have to apply for Variation of ILR application and all the informations regarding the process you have to follow are given in the link below:

Yes SET (M) is the correct form you have to fill in .

Thanks for your response but I have not submitted any applications yet. I have just booked an in-person appointment for premium service centre (by mistake for SET(O) instead of SET(M)). Do I still need to submit a variation for my application?
So, just to understand, you are suggesting that I go ahead with SET(O) application form and submit a variation to make it SET(M) on the same day at the premium centre?

Have you completed the online form or not?
If you are using the paper Set(M) form, just take it with you and explain the error. It should not be an issue provided you have not completed and submitted set O form online.

Hi - No we have not filled the online application form. We are taking the paper form in person. Its good news if that should not be an issue as it is not possible to change the appointment to confirm its for SET(M) and not for SET(O) as originally booked. Many thanks.

Hi there,
Can you please let me know how you got on at the appointment? I have a similar scenario where we booked FLR(M) but needed to book FLR(IR). Visa costs the same and we are filling in the form to take to appointment.
Thanks for your help.
