Applying for a British passport with a Canadian passport

Dear experts,

I would be most grateful for your advice.

I am a Canadian passport holder in the UK on ILR. I have been on ILR for 1 year now.

I also hold an OCI (overseas citizen of India).

Would holding a Canadian passport and OCI prevent me from applying for a British passport? Would I need to surrender my Canadian passport or my OCI?

They are no impediment to naturalising as British and may be retained in the long term. However, you will have to submit all your uncancelled Canadian passports whenever you apply for a British passport.
