I just got word that mine was approved!
I don't know how many points I have. 40k base, plus 19k in allowances (some people said the allowances didn't count toward points, so either they count, or 40k is going through this month).
Best of luck to you all
Congratulations!!!
For the 40 and 45 points I honestly hope your allowances do not count.

The following benefits and payments will NOT count towards the minimum salary threshold:
Bonuses or incentive pay which is not guaranteed. This includes performance related bonuses and commission.
Employer pension contributions.
Any other payments which cannot be guaranteed.
Overtime pay, whether or not overtime is guaranteed.
Allowances to cover business expenses. This include training, hotels and business travel within the UK, or travel to and from the migrant’s country of residence.
One-off payments. Such as those associated with the cost of relocation, which do not form part of the migrant’s regular salary package.
Any payments or allowances (whether monetary or in-kind) for which the migrant must reimburse the sponsor.
The value of any shares which the migrant receives when offered a job under an employee shareholder employment contract.
Other perks such as medical benefits or tuition fees

What a magic, the company will apply from August, lost 6months and try another 6months, have 45points.
It seems very positive this month, the process is super fast than in the past from my experience. 50points already approved.. I don't know it means this month cut-off will be 46points again, really want to see 45points approved and below.
Good luck !

Congratulations to everyone who got approvals after many many months of waiting. What exciting news!!!!
Thank god they changed the rules. I've been in the same boat as you guys and know exactly how it feels. What a roller coaster!! At least we will appreciate being in the UK even more now having waited so long to achieve it!

Hey Boss, Can you please share the breakup of your pay so that we will know if your allowances is counted or not for point calculation. It will help so many people in this group to breathe easy if allowances are not counted.
Thanks, all the best to you.
Thanks,

It's housing allowance. It might be different from business peoples' housing allowance because my employer is a boarding school, so my housing is necessary for my duties.

Hi,
Congrats to all who got their approval!! Just wondering, the ones who got their approval, does the lawyer receive an email from the department or does one have to go and check in the SMS?
I am in the >60K range but still no news!!
Thanks,
Jess

How many points would a 48k salary for a data science job of 3 years experience be?

Useful to state what the SOC is rather than expect members to look for it.
One page back a member posted the points per salary list.

Like guaranteed allowance . Would not change during the term of your employment and would have been offered to a local as well if they were offered the role

Yes, that is what it is. It won't change during the term of my employment, and it would have been offered to a local.

Should I assume if we haven't heard for today it's over and to wait for tomorrow?
New here just want to know what to expect as I'm anxious like many of you.

I think we are done today. It is 6PM in England. I am trying not to get too anxious and excited because the amount of people that have reported approvals and the points have been great!
