You have just provided a sigh of relief for many. There's no 46 points apart from milk round process. Yours is 45 points then. That's wonderful news. Thanks mate.

I could cry honestly. This is great news.
Likewise!! I know and can completely understand. This was my first attempt and i know the amount of anxiety i had. But yes, in my limited view cut off should be around 40-45 this time.

After grad they'll get this points i.e. 46. Not the salary. Their RLMT is 30 points. So their 26k salary will be 30+16 = 46 points. Hope I've clarified you
Thanks mate!! Cheers and all the best!Aravxr wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 4:58 pmI can understand enjoy the moment and thanks for replying to us. Appreciate it. Cheers!
You would be surprised I know a lot of grad in banks who start with 50k salary
One more question you are not on the shortage list right .. what’s your job title
Do you get any other allowances or component on top of your basic of 46k?
Hi Ankur,
I'm deeply sorry!! I was so excited I mistyped my points. He's correct, I need a total of 55 points, not 35Sachu wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 6:43 amI am afraid, it was a miscalculation by him.. he might have scored 35 for his salary band and missed the RLMT score of 20. So most probably it would be 55 points. I don't see any other possibilities of 35 being approved on the first day.
However, I too hope it to be true. !! Waiting to hear from your MrUKrobort
Cheers bro. Thanks and best of luck for future!MikeyTier2 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:13 pmThanx bru after I received the great news I checked immgboards and noticed no one on 50 points approved so didn't waste a second to let my cyber space buddies knowblitzkrieg333 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 3:45 amCongratulations bro.....and thanks for being the first @ 50 to report getting through. Hi Boss,Nightshade wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 2:22 amHi guys. My first post here.
A little bit of background here, I was originally under Tier 4 General from Nov 2010 until December 2017 (I first did foundation, then Bachelors, then Masters, then a year and half of PHD to last this long), In May 2018 my FLR FP application got refused due and by the time I made a fresh one I was out of date by 3 days due to some unavoidable circumstances (beyond the 14 days they give). When I made my new application my lawyer gave me a load of news starting with how I'm not eligible for switching incountry to Tier 2 anymore because of that overstay, that I'm not exempted from RLMT anymore and I need to now apply for RCoS from outside the UK, and the biggest kicker of all was that my 7.5 years of continuous residency has now been wasted because of those 3 days and I might not be able to qualify for ILR in 2.5 years time unless the case worker is compassionate about my case....so yay for that !!
Funny enough after trying for years (I tried after my Bachelors, Masters and during my PHD) I FINALLY manage to find an employer who unlike other employers is not just willing to hire me only to say no to sponsorship (even if they had a Tier 2 licence), but also someone who is willing to do everything possible to get me a Tier 2, but due to my new circumstances I look into RCoS and I find out that the point requirements have been insanely high from December 2017 onwards. And that means someone like me with no experience is completely out of luck despite having an employer, being in the country for so long and having 2 degrees from UK university and a half finished PHD
So here's my question, can someone please explain to me why exactly has the RCoS cutoff jumped so insanely high in Dec 2017? It seemed to have been fixed at 21 for as long as I can see before that even if the NHS jobs were included in the Tier 2 cap. Did some new development happen or something? And I guess there is no hope for me to make a Tier 2 application atm.
