For new entrants it is different and it is what is stated in the SOC.anilisanil wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 12:09 pmFor new entrants salaries for each code (if your age is less than 25?) is there any specific requirement? I am not sure how this works, though!CR001 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 11:53 amIf you are not a shortage occupation list job, you need a minimum of £30k pa to get a tier 2 visa or if the SOC salary is higher, then the higher amount per SOC.Ranjithk1980 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 11:51 amHello Guys
I have not heard anything from my employer yet . Heard that the new band scale for NHS has been approved by the Home office and a Band 6 should get 28050 k to start with . But guys can someone tell me even though a RCOS is issued by the homeoffice with this salary wont the UKBA reject ur tier 2 application once you apply for your visa for the Uk . Please help everyone .
Very kind of you, thanksciveng2017 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 12:17 pm@CR001 I’ve been here since December (lurked for a while)
People come and go each month. Everybody gets thanked except for you.
Thanks for everything, the advice and keeping order.
@Everybody else... 45 ‘seems’ to be good and clear, let’s keep our fingers crossed that it drops even lower this month

45 points (no benefits or allowances), non-NHL, non-SOL approved!
I was refused with 33 points since last Dec but luckily my employer agreed to raise my salary and applied with 45 points this month.
This forum has been massively helpful! This is my first time to post here but I really wanted to share the news ASAP.
Good luck to you guys all!

Perhaps start your own topic and asks questions about the visa application process presuming you have an RCoS, instead of asking visa app questions in the RCoS waiting topic.
I am in the same boat. 37 points and need to convince my employer to try again as they stopped in May.. They are asking for substantial proof of the points number being reduced.. I know this blog is there but don't think it is best to share data from here to my employer as it is not official.. Do you have any official links which I can Google to share with my employer???civeng2017 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 6:04 pmTo the two accepted people on 45 points who took the time to inform us... thank you very much!
You made people’s weekend a little bit easier.
This might get my employer to apply next month... they stopped applying two months ago... 39 points no longer sounds impossible thanks
Link below list up to June. July has not been released yet.abhmahaj1 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:24 pmI am in the same boat. 37 points and need to convince my employer to try again as they stopped in May.. That's about 522 people who were waiting in June, altogether.
Ashley, you're not likely to get an accurate answer just by asking.AshleyEB40 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:52 pmYes, I did see these figures, but I meant just on the board who is waiting in the category.anilisanil wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:49 pmPoints ApplicantsAshleyEB40 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:45 pmHow many are waiting in the 40-44 range to get approval (hopefully this month!)

Oh yes, and I am not looking for an accurate number. I just want to know who is here with me.civeng2017 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 4:12 pmAshley, you're not likely to get an accurate answer just by asking.AshleyEB40 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:52 pmYes, I did see these figures, but I meant just on the board who is waiting in the category.anilisanil wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:49 pmPoints ApplicantsAshleyEB40 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 3:45 pmHow many are waiting in the 40-44 range to get approval (hopefully this month!)

If we take into consideration the numbers from June (as on page 1&2), without guessing the amount of new applications and people who didnt apply in July, there were 1 272 applications refused just between 60 and 45, and 1 584 between 60 and 40.
We know there were definitely 2 187 allocations available (plus potential unused apps).
I don't want to create false hope, but there is a real possibility that if 45 cleared, another band or bands could clear this month. That's what we're all hoping for!
That's the best we can do, I'm afraid.
