Thanks so much. We feel so much more optimistic!AshleyEB40 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 8:56 pmThank you for letting us know. So many of us know exactly what it feels like to get that rejection email. I think you are coming in at a good time in the process with the changes and should not have a long wait like some.Kat259 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 18, 2018 7:21 pmThe secondary school teacher again. I posted yesterday about my questions. We heard today I’ve been rejected, however, they told us to apply again. Is that a good sign?
I am non-SOL, non-NHS and was sitting at 29 points.
With the redo I am now at 30 points as they have upped my salary and have also redone the RLMT. I’m so much more optimistic reading through people’s posts. We can do this everyone!
Absolutely apply for next month! You should still be good for when school starts if the points drop that low in August! Good luck!
That is really handy to know. Thanks for clarifying, lets hope this drops to 40 today. I can't bare the thought of thinking about this all weekend. Just one more band!!! COME ON YOU CAN DO IT!civeng2017 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 9:52 amYou don't have to worry about that. A whole points band gets cleared or not at all. This means that, except of course for exceptional approvals, if one 41 gets cleared they all get cleared. It's all or nothing.shide44 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 9:36 amYea I too i'm hopeful that it clears the 40K mark. I am just not sure how they decide amongst the applicants with the same points? does it depend on how many months they've applied or does everyone get put back in the same pot and someone randomly selected.
This is my second month applying so less hopeful that I would go through over people applying for 4-5 months.
So when it gets to 40, it will be all the 40's
Hope that helps allay the doubts:)
There would be lot of applications on 40. June itself had 114 applications and that makes it a bit tricky for 40 to go through in first month. I am waiting on 40 and if it goes through today, weekend will be fireworks.civeng2017 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 1:08 pmWhat a nice Friday surprise. Congrats to both of you
I've still got my fingers crossed for those in the 40 points band, may you all get news that makes our weekend a little bit lighter
No I am not an immigration consultant so do not have clients and no immigration consultant 'friends' either. Even if I was one, the forum rules forbid me from advertising or stating the fact that I am one.londondreams2018 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 2:50 pmHey Moderator, you yourself are Immigration Consultant. Would be useful if you would tell us if any of your clients went through with 40 points or below? or with any of your Immigration Consultant friends?
I don't really understand what you meant, but did you mean that the salary you are offered is lower than the advertisement in RLMT? if yes, then I suggest you need to get it sorted with your employer since you RCOS will be rejected. I had this situation before. Let's say if your current salary is 30k and the salary in RLMT is 45k-60k, then your rCoS will be rejected. but if your salary is higher (i.e 70k while the salary in RLMT is 45k - 60k) i am not really sure about that. However, salary information is part of RLMT requirements, so it is better to get it sorted.
Dude how disappointing it is. Anyways I know you must have learners some hard lessons in life it will only help you going forward.tier2COSchaser wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 3:15 pm50k basic - 50 points Non SOL, Non NHS, Non Phd, Non milk around,..., Non vegetarian,... etc....
Got the news from employer just few mins back that my COS was granted.. After getting the offer letter in november 2016, waiting since then to get my tier 2 ICT 12 months cooling off period to be over just to land in december 2017 to know that cut off hit 56 points for the first time ever. From then on it has been this wonderful forum and you guys who have been my only support to keep my hopes alive in the past 7 months.
For people wondering why I wasn't through in April, back then I had only 40 points and tried in May with 45 points after salary hike and then again had to get new RLMT for 50 points in June and finally got the RCOS now in July. Lucky to have such an employer who had the patience for all through these 1.5 years.
For ppl who are still waiting, all the very best. Really positive thing this month is that refusals and rejections are yet to come with cut off points already hitting 41 points till now. Definitely all will get it in next few months.
I know I can now change my name to tier2VisaChaser

Hope your RMLT is successful and you too will get your COS in upcoming months..krimurthy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 5:29 pmDude how disappointing it is.
