IHS (Urgent Query)

Post by hina_pirzada » Mon Jul 23, 2018 8:20 pm

Hi all senior members,

One of my friends varied his Tier 1 Ent (Ext) application to FLR (FP). He paid £1600 IHS for the whole of his family on his previous application and he mentioned the same IHS number in his application form.

At the time of variation, he mentioned in the covering letter that he paid £1600 and any other difference will be paid accordingly if home office requested.

He got a letter from HO saying that he submitted an invalid application because he wasn't paid full IHS fee.
However, he was given time for 10 days to pay.

The problem is in the letter HO says they have sent a link to his email address which was registered at the time when he registered. He is instructed to open the link and pay the remaining fee. But he didn't get any email from them. He is worried and asking help how he contacts Home Office what is the alternative way to pay. Can he pay through cheque or banker draft.

Or there are any other contact details of HO where he sends an email or calls to report the issue.

Kindly Advise.

Seniors can suggest better but..
what my knowledge is
Ihs has to be paid again on variation of application and then make a request for the old one to be refunded..same is the case with application fee
according to my limited knowledge ihs can only be paid online and worst case ihs department can be contacted on phone but cheque or postal orders are not mentioned online
have a look..

IHS must be paid per application. Refunds will be issued automatically later for the previous application.
Better pay online and send the reference with a covering letter to HO
