Does one single day make such a difference? You can apply WITHIN 28 days before reaching 5 years since date of your first PBS Dependent start date.1. Can I apply 28 days earlier ? from which date I can start my application do I need to count backwards from 10th / 11th Sep
Are you sure form Set(O) online asks for this as you are not 'joining or accompanying' anyone if you are applying for ILR.2. I was trying complete my online application form and came across the following question.
Start Page had following question.
The person you are joining or accompanying - This section do I need to enter my Husband details?
Your Tier 2 General dependent visa.Application Page:
When did you first enter the UK? (Required)
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started. - Do I need to enter the date when I came to UK for Study or 10th of Sep 2013 on Tier 2 General dep visa
The question is quite clear. Simply state all countries you have lived in, including your country of origin. It is not asking for time spent on holiday.Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?
Country you lived in
Date you lived there from
Date you lived there to
Reason you lived there
I was born in India. In the above question do I need to fill in this section for the Days outside of the UK for this 5 years on Tier 2 General Dep category or Do I need to include earlier also from Birth?
Do we need to fill in this section If I visited India for 1 month holiday also?
British citizens in the UK are not under EU freedom of movement rights, this applies equally to citizens of an EU country residing in the country of their nationality. Domestic immigration rules will apply and not EU freedom of movement rules.justjigar wrote: ↑Thu Jul 26, 2018 7:11 pmI just posted related documents for my PBS dependent SET(O) form. Wife already has citizenship.
Regarding documents, i didnt think much as i assumed they have simplified the ILR process.
If you navigate to mandatory and supporting document checklist once you finish form, it asks for no financial or other documents.
I simply posted my passport, photos, brp, LIfeInUK and B1 test cerrticiate.
had doubt about third party sponsor declaration as you... got signed by wife and attached 6 months joint bank statement for that.
In my opinion, there is no financial requirements for dependent SET(O) applications. I cross verified this in paper SET(O) section 5, where heading says this information is for primary migrants only.
Also, being married to British Citizen, it should be unlawful to put financial burden under EU freedom of movement rights, so i am sure all this doesn't matter much.
PBS applicants should show they can support themselves without recourse to public funds. There is no minimum income requirement as their is for spouse settlement visas.
