If you are not
married, but have proof that you have been living with your partner for at least two years, then you may
switch to
FLR(M) (
295D). Subsequently, you may
apply for
SET(M) (
295H).
If the baby's British father is named on your baby's birth certificate, then your baby is automatically a British citizen. Unfortunately, I cannot yet see how your baby's status helps you at this time. If the baby's father was looking after your child, then you
may be able to apply for entry clearance
