You have the legal right to enter UK anytime until the expiry of your visa.

The real question is how will you renew your visa when it is nearing expiry - you will have to be employed, earning for atleast 12 months etc. etc. The earlier the better .... that you land in UK and plan your career.

Hi,

Refer to HSMP guidance, you cannot live outside UK for more than 3 months contineous period. I have also searched a lot on this but didn't find anything specific about leaving the country after having EC done. But referring to above, I think following can be done;

= Leave for UK within 3 months of after getting your passport stamp.
= You can switch between UK and your country for 1 year, not staying outside UK for more than 3 months. For this, you can live in your country and visit UK within 3 moths for 1 year.
= Stay in UK for last 1 year with Job ensuring that you can earn the required points for second stage (FLR).

This is a condition (amongst many) when you are considering your stay in UK for ILR purposes .... and your ILR clock starts only when you have entered UK.
