Tier 2 ICT Dependant to Tier 2 General(Same employer)

Hi All,

I am working a company based out of London. as my Tier 2 ICT Dependant is expiring, they want to retain me. So they have sponsored me and my Rcos is approved under Shortage occupancy as my role falls under it.

Some of my friends are telling me that as I am switching from my Tier 2 ICT depend to Tier 2 General under same employee, it will create some issue

My Query is my company have filled properly and we are not doing anything wrong. so why there should be an issue when I switch my visa for the same employee.

is there any real problem in this?

I don't see any issue. Better ask your friend what's exactly the issue there...

I don't see any issue. Better ask your friend what's exactly the issue there...

checked. He is having some diff opinion. he is mentioning that as you worked for the same employee, some case worker will think that your company want to hold you back that's why they are filling under shortage occupancy. I am little bit scared

As long as home office guidance are followed, this should not be an issue.

Applied from India
List of documents as follows
1. Passport
2.valid CoS
3.Naric certificate
4.TB certificate
5. Maintainence documents

Happy to inform you all that I got my visa approved and got my passport yesterday

In terms of Naric certificate which one you have submitted - visa and nationality service( which confirms Academic qualification level statement and English language proficiency statement) OR the other service of uk naric.

Don't we need to submit original degree certificate and marriage certificate in case of name change due to marriage. My wife is about to apply from India shortly.
