UK Tier 2 - Employment qualification

Post by Sylvia0527 » Fri Aug 17, 2018 5:45 pm

Hello Experts,

I have read lots of articles and information about 1-year employment requirement but not quite sure if it fits my case. So any feedback are welcome and greatly appreciated.

I joined Company A in April 2014 and left it around November 2017 (3 years 7 months). After that I was employed by Company B and work until now. Due to growing business and corporate strategy, Company A would like to assign someone to work as expatriate at their UK branch office. For various reasons, Company A contacted me and offered the job position. They said they will help to arrange ICT visa after I am back to the company. My question is - Will my previous work period be taken into account when verifying 1-year employment? Or I will have to work for another year to be able to apply for such visa?

Thanks again for kind assistance.
Have a great day.

Sylvia

It is the most recent 12 month employment period and you have to submit evidence of salary.

What salary are you being offered by company A?

Hi CR001,
I see. Thanks for swift reply! The exact amount is still under negotiation but I don’t think it will be more than £73,900 to qualify no minimum time. Does that mean even if I apply for the ICT visa few months later after I get back to the company with latest bank slip to show that I am working for the company and evidence of previous salary, there is no chance to pass the application as only recent 12 month employment will be verified?
Many thanks for your help :)

You need the 12 months with company A before applying to qualify for an ICT visa.
